7th October, 2016

As proud sponsors of the Professional Planning Forum National Planning Awards & Conference, eg’s Head of Client Engagement, Tim Becker, was delighted to attend the Gala Dinner on 29th September 2016 to present the award for ‘Rising Star’ to Thomas Splaine of RBS.

Twelve teams and individuals were recognised for being outstanding role models within their professional communities.

The Professional Planning Forum award programme recognises excellence in the Customer Contact Planning arena. A wide range of external judges influenced the results and in addition, every nomination was peer-assessed by other finalists in the same category.

In his presentation speech to Thomas Splaine, Tim Becker said;

“The first Rising Star award is won by a professional who introduced new metrics and MI reporting as well building an Access database linking directly to the workforce management system.

“He took full responsibility for planning for an area which had previous been described as ‘not plannable!’  when he started planning for web chat.”

The black-tie evening celebrated the achievement of professionals and inspired future success. Attendees enjoyed a mix of lively entertainment, music and dancing into the early hours. Inspiring, specialist and professional, the Professional Planning Forum National Planning Awards Gala Dinner was a fantastic evening to network and also to enjoy.

Nicola Callan, Head of Engagement & Learning at The Forum, said;

“So many of our member organisations are achieving success and delivering breakthrough performance and it is these teams, and these individuals, who are playing a crucial role in making this happen.

“The Forum Awards recognise and celebrate all of our finalists and winners and they in turn inspire others, all the while raising standards in customer operations. Congratulations to all.”
