Elizabeth Gooch, MBE, founded EG Consulting in January 1988 to provide practical tools and methodologies from manufacturing and apply them to back office operations initially in the financial services sector. The experience and know how has been captured and continues to be developed with eg‘s market leading software and implementation methodology.

Elizabeth’s vision was to establish a company with people focus which enabled people to help themselves.

Elizabeth Gooch started her career in industry, joining Forward Trust (a subsidiary of Midland Bank) and then Birmingham Midshires Building Society before establishing eg in 1988.
